I got really bored so i decided to install Leopard 10.5.2 on my year old gateway m-6846 laptop which has been collecting dust ever since i bought my MBP. The whole process was not bad but few things did not work right aweay. Keyboard ( had to use usb for install) and sound didnt work but i fixed them . I still dont have battery meter , fixes i tried do not work. Also i dont have wifi but after some research i found that dell 1490 wifi card works , its only $15 on ebay .
So all and all im really pleased with out come .

Sweeeet!! Wifi was the one thing that held up my hackbook project, tried the fixes, didn't work. I even ordered a different wifi card that was supposed to work OTB for like $12 on eBay and it was defective so that all just kinda demotivated me. Guess you get what you pay for. I've promised myself that the next laptop I buy will be a mbp, got a little ways to go before I get there but I'm going to do it! Even if it puts me in debt lol
