Have you gone to a bookstore to look at these? Or are these just the best recommended ones you could find? You should probably check it out before you purchase anything.
I'd personally go with the first, because if you really have no idea whats going on, then you can't get much easier than "absolute beginner." :P It looks very toned down from the Amazon preview. If there is a specific thing you want to do, then the Step-by-Step might be able to walk you through it, but I've personally rarely taken anything from a step book that's stuck with me.Last edited by demonslave; 12-02-2009 at 01:11 PM. Read the reviews or scan through the pages before making a purchase. Sometimes, you may not get what you want.
Asking for help is different from being stupid. Fanboys can rot in @#$%!

Go to Schulers or Barnes and Noble, and look through their C# books. Then take note of the title of the book and buy it online for cheaper.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Well, one of them is a C# book written by a guy named Sharp. Honestly, the amusement alone was enough for me, lol.
