27" iMac Unboxed! WOW!
So you'll see in the first picture I had a PC running triple monitors... the middle one actually being a 26" Vizio LCD TV. Then there's the 13" MBP... and the iMac in the box.
What I have done now is put the TV back to being my actual tv... scrapped the 2 other monitors... and now I just have the massive iMac. The best part is I am using remote desktop over my LAN to have my PC up and running displayed on my Mac! Not great for gaming which I never do but great for continuing to use my PC as my multi-tarabyte media server and video editor. Score!

The guys at the Apple store said they had just gotten stock in this morning and I was actually the first one purchased. Everyone was staring with joy as I walked out carrying that huge box. If i wasn't in shape I would have had to take a break on the way to the truck... it got heavy after a while, lol.

Looks great, bet you felt 10 foot tall walking out with that box. What are your first impression of the mouse?

It's the core 2 duo 3.06 processor and 4g RAM. It's fast as hell. Life is good. I back up all my blu-ray disks as HD m2ts files on my PC to stream through my PS3 media server to my 60" DLP. But the coolest thing is VLC will play them thru my LAN so I can truly see what HD blu-ray looks like on this amazing display. It's breath taking to say the least!
The mouse is cool in general but gonna take some adjustment. I love the lack of wires though.

You my friend are the king for a day.
A work of art that if you do a little research you may find can be your TV as well since Apple has graciously allowed us input into this iMac for the first time and other goodies. Reports are already coming in of BR devices and HD tuners being shoved into the back input and fired up. I love my iMac and it's the perfect size for me where it sits (couldn't fit anything else), but int he name of overkill I might just have to get one of these anyway.
