I love both of those series
. Try reading the Ranger's Apprentice series, its really good. And asides from Harry Potter, my favorite series of all time is Pendragon. They're crazy good books

Hitchhikers is awesome! George Orwell's "Animal Farm" is good. John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" is good (Anything by Steinbeck is usually pretty rockin). Mark Twain's "the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" is amazing! These have been pretty standard books for a good while, and they actually are really awesome books. You'll have to eventually read them anyway!

If you want, you can read the Twilight series
! Just kidding. I recommend The Gatekeeper series, done by the same author of Alex Rider series.

Umm...that's why we have bookstores and teachers. I stopped taking the program since I moved to Minnesota. I still hate Minnesota.

Oh gosh I remember the Accelerated Reading program

In 8th grade my teacher required like 30 points and any extra was extra credit. I read Les Miserables (~2000 pages) during that time and it just so happened to be on the list (coincidence). I had 120% in that class for the rest of the semester
I didn't like Animal Farm. Of Mice and Men made me cry

Well...I'm a freshman. At my high school, sophomores treat you like trash. Actually, the people of MN treat you like trash.

Thats because most freshmen and sophomores have yet to achieve a greater social awareness. Don't worry, that'll pass. People eventually realize that you cant judge whether or not people are cool based on age.

Freshman have this attitude ... you'll notice it next year.
There are some freshmen I love to death, but freshmen as a whole are annoying.
I loved freshman year though.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something
