What up peeps...
Hey everyone... Been a long time! Joined forum back in August '07 (before it was even modmyi.com, but been away on military leave, etc! So what's up in the world of the i? I see you all have managed to keep at it while I was gone, which is great!
Was using iBrickr back in the 1.x days, but while I was gone I ordered a 3G which is currently updated FW - 3.1.2 / BB - 05.11.07 (which I fear will be an issue)...
Currently reading up on what's out... getting familiar with all these colored element programs you all are using to jailbreak and will be in touch here and there!
Feel like a virgin, being a member for over 2 years but not a single post, but hey... wasn't even in America!

Thanks man, feels good to be home! Spend some more time with the family, then get back to working on the phone...
From what I see, my BB will need to be downgraded, less the blackra1n can get work around that. I seem to have been able to get blackra1n installed just fine this morning with some Cydia program (I'm guessing took over "Installer") So we'll see what happens!

Hi Vsellers! Good to see you again for the first time. Installer went the way of the bloated goat and Cydia became the spot to be. Most everything has became idiot proof compared to the hand coding days.
Most old schoolers are still here. Some very pesky new schoolers like Zeal who we keep around to remind us life can get worse. Overall everything you need to know is in the iphone news forum because when something is news, everybody discusses it into the ground so lots of troubleshooting info in there as well.

It's so funny I've been a member longer than anyone else who's posted here, yet I'm so out of the loop it isn't funny!
Oh well, life aside, I believe I've already caught on just by reading all the whiny, repeating, blatantly put ******* who post the same "hurry up" comment when they themselves don't contribute anything to the cause to say the least, lol...
I'll take a ride on the blackra1n and see if I have a chance at this thing, hehe.

With all the plethora of genius contained within this forum (despite the whiny folks that don't know how to use f***in google), it allows modders such as myself to be lazy! Sweet glory, lazy modding life is good!

yea, things have gone by soooo fast since the old 1.x days. youve missed alot. *snif* i miss the simplicity and speed of installer..
