Motorola CLIQ with MOTOBLUR
What does everyone think about this Android device?
Hands-on with the Motorola Cliq smartphone [review] | The Toybox | ZDNet.com
It looks pretty nice with the MOTOBLUR interface, dresses up the ugly android homescreen. I'm probably going to get one if it's not sluggish, it still uses the old processor in the MT3G I believe - But it can be overclocked.

It seems like an iPhone like device with a keyboard and a better camera. But, the battery life looks awful! And after hearing folks complain about their G1's battery life, I would guess that this device wont fair much better in the ways of longevity. (I have a friend that leaves his G1 plugged in at work, just so he can make it through the day while texting.)

Yeah, not really.
-- Is anyone going to try one these? I really think it will do well because of the overall blend - Touch screen, UI, slideout keyboard (hated the ugly G1 popout thing)
Yeah I don't expect battery life to be great either especially with the social networking integration, 3G data and old processor.

Much better looking than the previous Android devices.
Still like my iPhone better though.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

The spring loaded ones are pretty nice, the ones that get flimsy really fast are ones like on the Pre. I hope they found out how to do a slider phone though because the SK slide was a big piece of crap - had an issue with the slider mechanism and the wiring.

I had an audiovox 6700 at one point......It had a pretty nice slider mechanism that felt great.
