i really miss DOCK
not sure if you guys would remember back in the 1.0.4 fw days..Nate True from creations.net came out with DOCK (sunburst) app...I love that app... i really miss this app...especially the very first one too.... Anyhow, I hope Nate will bring Dock back in play with the latest fw someday soon.
btw, Dock is a app-launcher app.

I appreciate your reminiscence! I didn't get it until 2.0 (thats when I joined
) But it was pretty handy as long as you spent some time organizing it. The only thing that would frustrate me is when I'd be trying to get a girls number and my sunburst would come up instead of my phone!

the 2.0 version was not better than the original one imo. First one was just the sunburst in the corner. It worked really well.

The original dock was impressive beyond all means. I've considered taking my 2g phone down to 1x again just to play with it.

What's funny about dock 1.0 is that everyone who had it still remembers the technique to get it to come up without accidentally launching an app or triggering the ipod to come up.
Nobody except people who had 1.0 dock knows the "swipe" from the corner technique and the speed that it takes to do it "correctly".
It's an OG thing.
You can do it on your phone right now and still expect to see the dock some up because it is such a very certain and deliberate movement only for that program.
