Idolizing people because they have money and are followed by cameras that project images through your flickering screens is a fallacy in logic that needs to be corrected by the information age. The disconnect here is that you know copious amounts of information about people who do little for the advancement of human kind. However, this type of behavior has proven very successful in the sedation of entire generations, resulting in blissful ignorance, non-action, and isolation of ideals through suggestive ideals. You could see how governments and elites would throw billions of dollars into research and development programs (marketing) that focus on how to better manipulate the public opinion through pre-defined images and symbols that are combined with color schemes, which are meant to elicit calculated responses!

As long as people feel that the television offers solace and validation to an otherwise foreign and chaotic world, people will never truly understand the power that they are capable of wielding. We can be shapers of reality. We don't have to simply be acceptors of reality, sitting on the sidelines(couch), watching the events(TV) unfold.

Not much to really say here, just F Kanye. He had no business interrupting any award acceptance speech let alone her first VMA ever. Honestly, no one should really care what he thinks. I really dont know why Kanye thinks he is someone he is not. Why did he ever think he had the right to get up thre, steal the mic from this girl and not only embarrass himself, but also Beyonce who took the "loss" with class. (Even though she won the better award) For me, there is nothing Kanye can say to make me forgive him for what he did.
