upgrade from a 2G phone to 3GS?? good or bad idea
I am on a 2g phone, upgraded to the 3.0 firmware. My question is this. Is it worth the investment to move up to a 3GS phone?

I've only played with my buddies. But if I were an AT&T customer, I wouldn't think twice. Its got way more processing power, a decent cam-corder, a decent camera, a compass (which is nice if your a bad Indian, and get lost easily), etc. It truly is a superior device.

I appreciate the feed back..I am thinking that I could sell me 2G for about what the 1600gig would cost me at ATT. I am eligable for the upgrade price and my 2G is in immaculate condition..it has been in a case and with screen protector from day one..

I gave my 2g away to a friend... Didnt even bother selling it.
2G-3GS is a perfect upgrade...
Unlike 2G to 3G... Which was a waste of money

its not worth it...the money isnt worth a new phone...if u sell ur 2g for a good price then maybe...but to spend full pprice on a 3gs when u have a 2g..bad idea...

Right now, anything is better than the 2G iPhone. Do it!

From a 2G? Definitely!

I am with AT&T and eligible for the upgrade price so I am only looking at either $199 or $299. Since I have not even filled up my 8g phone I am thinking that the 16 would be plenty unless there is other benifits that come with the 32.. Anyone know if there is any additional benifits to going with the 32?

The advantage of the 32 gb is really going to lie with future applications. Take for instance the Tom-Tom app, that alone is 1+ gigs. Apps are going to keep getting bigger and bigger!!! Ride dirty with the 30...2!
