As of today Sony has knocked off that extra $100 everyone has been wanting. Finally Sony is getting competative with their pricing! Go out and get ya one... makes for an awesome Blue-Ray player too.

I saw this on SlashDot. I might go get a PS3 now. Its the first Sony console I didn't get on launch day.

For some reason, I don't really dig the new look, it looks like a cheap knock-off. On the other hand it is only $299, makes me feel bad for being an early adopter.

Hmm... Well, at least they finally realized that their POS (Point Of Sale, for all you defensive fan boys!

)was too ridiculous for most people to even consider. And yeah, cheap blue-ray player. Blah Blah Blah. Unless you have a 50" 1080 PI, then the difference isn't so drastic that its worth the investment. (Unless you have copious sums of money in your wallet...in which case...For just $400 a month, you could sponsor a poor college kid!
