...not that it matters, because the end result is the same but it was a push mower. I heard something in the blades, like a tin can. I pulled the mower back and picked up what was left of my phone. The back came completely off taking out the camera. The corner of the PCB took a small hit. The battery is still good. The display is toast. See pick below.

I doubt I will be getting anything from the case maker. It was bought on Ebay and was probably from an outsourced company. No, I think I will have choke on this one. I was very very stupid for not taking it off before doing yard work. I do still hold it in my hand and can not believe what I am looking at. Can anyone guess what I will be spending my $100 credit on?

Yea that sucks and sorry to see that happened. But on the positive side, you do have that 100 dollar credit and the price of the phone is lower now. So it's not as bad as it would have been, if this happened prior to the price drop and credit issue. (Thinking positive!)

you might as well give calling Apple a try, I've heard some really good stories about them replacing broken units from falls that were kinda the users fault.. i think they cover it within "normal wear and tear" and of course it's gunna fall a few times... and then a lawn mower jusdt happened to run it over =/
