For an encore I thought I would pull out the wood chipper and throw my iMac in it. Too bad AT&T doesn't have an insurance option...they don't, I checked. I thought about home insurance but I have a $500 deductible. Oh well the price to pay for stupidity and pricey toys

Oh and FYI...Since the display is trashed I decided on some experiments. I took the newest key I had and tried my hardest to scratch the glass. It did not even leave a mark. I was very impressed.

Well all is back to normal. I went to the Apple store and picked up another 8gig and all my mods are installed. Life is good.

Here is a picture of the holder. There is no name on it and it was purchased on Ebay. The case is made of a metal and does a nice job of taking the hits. The problem is the top clip that holds it shut, it is weak. So it gets flipped open easy ally. I will be purchasing a different style for my new phone.

Wow, that new carbon fibre case is starting to look even better. Your iPhone might have had a fighting chance at least. In the end, you got a new iPhone, did you have to purchase it or was Apple sympathetic?

If it had been a different type of holder/case then it would not have fallen out of the one I had. As for assistance from Apple I never got around to asking them, I wanted my phone back..lol So I used the $100 credit and bought another 8gig. Didn't hurt as much this time but if you think about it I know have a $1000.00 phone. 600 the first time and 400 this time. Now that's stupid Bling!

I had my iphone in my hands...and had to cover its eyes to keep it from seeing a gory site. I bet you did the curly dance off of the 3 stooges when you saw it. But anyways, really hate that for you mate. I did that once when I had the newest nextel. I was the first around to have the i95cl, I had just got done taking a dump and I stood up to pull my drawers up, it did a 1 1/2 summersault and a nice perfect 10 dive in the toilet bowl. Needless to say, I wanted it back, but not that bad. So I flushed the toilet 2 or 3 times, and got rubber gloves out.......Just about had a funeral over it. So.........I know how you feel. Sucks......
