need a second opinion on buying 32gb 3GS
Hey guys, this is my first time posting but anyways I need a second opinion. My friend who owns a local cell phone store some how managed to get his hands on a black 32gb 3GS. He said he'll sell it to me for $450... which isn't bad at all BUT heres the catch, there's no box charger, or headphones. Sounds kind of fishy... what do u guys think? Should I take the bait?

Well, you said he's your friend, so depends on if you trust him or not. Either he got really really lucky or.....its lost/stolen.

Hmm, only a phone with no accessories being sold for half the price of what a brand new one is worth?

take it .. dont get second thoughts .. if its blocked even then u can sell it on ebay for 600$ easily, maybe more
cus if they block even IMEI in ur country then it wont apply on other countries 
get it sell it and get newone again properly

Im pretty sure that if you just erase the mobileme account on the phone/wipe the phone the previous owner (if it was stolen) will not be able to track it any longer.

This deal sucks. It's sketchy for one, the accessories it doesn't include add up to about $95 so when you buy them you are at $550-ish plus you still have no box. If it is stolen you have no applecare, and you are only short $50 or so from a brand new one from apple. Originally Posted by 08lexus250
