    Default First Experiece with Ubuntu.....

I realize that this is an iPhone forum, but I'm pretty sure some of you guys use Linux or some distribution of it. I installed Ubuntu 9.04 from the Live CD thing and now I'm using it off of the partition it installed itself into. I try installing updates, but its saying there isn't enough room. Am I right in thinking that it only made a partition big enough to install the original file to?

I didn't notice the slider down at the bottom thus not making the partition very big at all. I just tried installing from boot and my keyboard didn't work. I'm gonna try installing through the Live CD option this time to see if the keyboard works again. Wish me luck.

It's working! Hahahahahaha! 45 more percent left on the installation. I really should be packing for a week long trip that I leave for Tuesday instead of this. Ohhhh well. This is more fun.

Ubuntu is cool but a waste of my time. I'll just stick with Leopard on the MB. You have to go all over the place to install a simple application.

Yes True - I have leopard and muddled with Ubuntu but it wasn't worth it.

Well some of us can't afford a Macbook and/or haven't the time or brains to get a hackint0sh up and running. Sooo I figured I'd try Ubuntu out. It flies compared to Windblows.

I had Noobuntu. Was kinda ____. Replaced it with Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
