Browser Battle

And i quote "Please stop using Internet Explorer as your browser at all. It's slow, its not secure, and doesn't display webpages correctly. You may download a free and better browser like Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera." I got this while browsing the other day.

So being a member of MMI for a while now i have noticed the amount of knowledge stealth and others have and I lack, I decided to do some research on some other browsers but i still haven't reached my conclusion as which is the one for me.
I'm a windows user, with a sattelite internet connection so speed is a big thing for me.

Please help me out and let me know what browser you use and your reason for it, don't forget details like what ad-ons you have!
Thanks for any help!

The integrated "awesome bar" in firefox by itself is a trump card on other browsers. Think of it as OS X Spotlight but for the whole web. Eliminate the need for typing "www." or ".com", just type the name of the company you want. I love it because it remembers the first few letters of every thread I've posted in since the stone age.

Probably going to get flamed for this, but I hate firefox and I'm happy to be using Safari again.
The pages load faster on Safari <<< that could just be me, but I'm happy

^ lol sorry but second only to chrome, safari actually, really has the least features of all the browsers on the market... And now pages load only slightly faster in safari than FF 3.5 (3.5 was a complete overhaul of the rendering engine and the final version was released today so many may not have used it and sat down to compare). sure safari looks better, but I can't use it for extensive periods of time without getting frustrated at the fact that it opens files without me asking, and it's address bar and bookmark "system" puts my productivity through the basement floor... So I don't know where that came from, LOL

FF3.5 FTW!!

I have a few extensions. TabMixPlus is a must. It lets you control all aspects of the tab, their size, what opens in a tab, etc. Ad-Block Plus is another must, you can have it block any image, script, flash movie, on any page. Yet Another Smooth Scrolling is nice too. On my EEE PC, my touchpad supports multitouch gestures, but scrolling is never right in FF. But with YASS, it corrects it nicely.

Not to mention, my EEE PC has an 8.9" screen, so I need to maximize my screen real estate. With FF, I am able to move the navigation bar up to the menu (File Edit) bar.

Bottom line: FF has so many customization options, it's ridiculous- like ridiculous day down at the deli. Where prices were so low, they were ridiculous.

Firefox hasn't let me down yet! And neither has Safari.
