I agree with the First-Gen iPhone love I'm feeling here. When I was waiting in line on the original iDay, it was something special. It was history in the making. That may sound silly, but it is the truth and no one can deny the sense of anticipation that surrounded the release of this miracle phone. Then, I got mine. I went to the car and opened the box. The gleaming chrome peered out of my hand sending beams of light dancing upon my eager eyes. It was so cool, clean, and pristine.
I had plans to see a movie that night. I was waiting in line for a ticket when suddenly I was surrounded by a feverish hungry mob! People kept asking if they could touch it. "Turn it sideways!" they would yell.
Well, its been over two years now and people still act amazed when they see it. Like I'm some sort of superior intellect since I can figure out how to use the iPhone magic. I am not a fan of the newer models. They look cheap and bloated compared to mine. And I live in a small town and don't think I can even use 3G. So... Meh. I'm still loving my First-Gen iPhone. Hopefully, they will show more attention to the external beauty of the iPhone next year. Then I would upgrade!
