i am a complete and utter apple noob, but am tempted by a mac.
i have looked at what i believe is a mac mini, it literally looks like a little square brick (if its the right thing)
how do macs work exactly setup wise compared to PC's?

the mini is a little box, no bigger than 4 cd boxes stacked up.
the thing im finding with mac is, its all about the shortcuts on the keyboard.
to exit an app you cant just click the x, but the coolest thing is you only use the mac resources on the app your currently using - so no running processes.
thats about all i know so far.iPhone 3G Jail broken 4.2.1 - redsn0w

to exit press command + q, or to just shut down the window but not exit the app, command + W

Would never go back to a PC after my Mac!!!!
Hi,
I, myself, just switched over from PC to a Mac. And I'm loving it!!!! No more lagging powering on!!!! YES!!!!
The thing I like most about Macs are :
1. No defragging your system
2. Less chance of virus......NO VIRUS softwares to buy!!!!
3. Programs that are included with system are USABLE!!!!
4. Graphics are awesome!!!!! No matter what level of specs you have.
5. More support.....online and at Apple Store
I could go on and on and on...........lol
Anyway, there are tutorials available from Apple's site. And if you bought a dotMac account (email account), then you can log onto your dotMac account to take mini classes. They even have videos and demonstration on applications!!!! How cool is that?
So much info and help for learning to use your Mac out there.....just look on their site!
Hope this helps you ex-PC users out.
Don't be shy, it's ok to hit that THANKS button.

I just ordered me a refurbished 20" 2.4Ghz 1GB RAM 320GB hd G5(I think) iMac. This is my first Mac ever! My dad owns 3, but I haven't used them. It is supposed to come in the mail tomorrow, I'm so excited!
All-in-all, it cost me $1,353.22 with tax.

Mac laptop for Work and media
PC for gaming
That's how it'll be for me.
