Once again, I was browsing Digg and I stumbled upon this story. Apparently Microsoft will be donating $1.15 (which according to Microsoft equals about 8 canned meals) for every download of Internet Explorer 8 to hungry Americans. Microsoft will be donating up to $1,000,000 to help feed Americans. That is almost 7 million meals!
This program is called "Browser for Better" and I think that everyone should download and, in my opinion, at least try IE8. Microsoft didn't have to do this but it is such a good cause that I think you should try IE8 with a clean slate in mind.
"Browser for Better" runs from June 10 until August 8 so I suggest you get to downloading! Times are tough nowadays and everyone should help feed struggling people, especially since it only takes a couple clicks of the mouse.
