PETITION: Donate Your AT&T Expiring Rollover Minutes
One of the greatest desires of those serving overseas is to call home and speak with their families. We are requesting that AT&T convert its' customers expiring rollover minutes to useable minutes to be used by U.S. military service men and women for U.S. domestic calls.
AT&T'S rollover minutes expire from their customers' current rollover balance when the minutes reach an age of 12 billing periods. This normally means that if you have minutes in your current Rollover balance for about a year, they will expire.
We live in the land of the free . . . because of the brave. Help a service man or woman call home and help our country!
AT&T please help us honor all of the men and women "protecting that which is worth protecting." Please allow your customers to donate their "expiring" rollover minutes into a domestic pool to be used by U.S. military and their immediate households.
Please forward this petition to as many of your friends, family and business contacts as possible.

Thats a great idea. I love how AT&T's claim is that their "your minutes" yet I had 2,500 minutes expire last month that I would have gladly donated.

Moderator: Would you mind making this thread a sticky? Interesting, that I've posted thread on same topic in another mobile phone forum and those folks are all up in arms that *I* haven't worked out the nitty gritty details for the rollover proposition and that AT&T is already helping military families with recycled phones and 15-minute calling cards.
Refreshing to see that some people do get the point
I've got 8,000 rollover with about 1,200 expiring next month.

I think that this would be a great idea! I don't have rollover minutes because I have unlimited voice on my account.... but its good for the ones that don't!

They should never expire being that WE pay for them. I could understand if they gave out a credit for the minutes we didn't use but then that would be in a perfect world. I agree with this. I had 2k minutes expire, switched to family plan and now I only have like 400 rollover. WTF.
I'd sign a petition.Android user suffering from iPhone withdraw.
