My harrd is wiped ,please help

hi .
i/ve this problem .i have two hard drive 160 and 500 gb
i'm using the 160 hard and i was trying (using acronis disk suite) to set one of the partition of the 500 gb hard from logical to primary during the process i accidentally closed the acronis program ,when i acronis ,it had a peoblem with recognizing a bunch of sectors i ignored all then when it opened the 500gb hard was diffrent i tried to wipe one of the unnamed partition then acronis closed and it opened the "my computer" showing only the 160gb hard drive ,and i can't even see the 500gb hard in acronis.(i can only see it a BAD in partition magic .please i need ur help , and advice will do , i tried todo some research and all i found was articles and suggestion for win95 and win98 .please i need any help possible

I'm going to say it's safe to assume that these are internal drives? Also was there anything on the 500gb? And what OS are you running?

if there are bad sectors, use your computer to find and download Hiren's boot CD. Burn it onto a CD (of course) and boot with it...select hard disk tools and run HDD regenerator. It takes a while but it will do it's best to fix your disk. there are some other tools on hirens boot cd that u can use to see whats happening with your disk.

Another suggestion- Acronis is crap as can be; don't use it.
