ooohhhh, nice! (both pics)
I never wore a mask for painting until my winter project a few months ago. My poor brain must be missing a few billion cells from some other projects Ive done without- always ended up with an awful migraine for several days afterwards. I broke down and bought a mask since this last time I was painting in the closed garage (it was March and I needed heat) It doesnt mess up makeup too much ,unless you wear foundation which I wear about 3 times a year, but it does make those ugly skin depressions like you get from elastics. My solution was to paint at night and not go out anywhere afterwards.
Heres a link to an album of pictures taken with my iPhone of painting I did on the race car before the vinyl graphics were done. I painted the front bumper, both front fenders and teh engine parts and brake calipers.
Here's some iphone pics i took when I repaired the bumper on my truck about a month ago. Some moron backed into it in the supermarket parking lot over the winter.

We have a repair shop as well and a in pound yard for the city and wrecker service.... the hubby has been doing this for a long time... he does everything.... old cars, new cars, cut them in half put them back together and he also taught it for 21 years as well.... he did retire from teaching a few years ago....
I don't like the in pounds because when people's cars get in pounded they take it out on us.... especially the drinkers... like its our fault they went out drinking and got a DUI and their car is in the in pound.... doh! We didn't pour the booze down their throats!
What a rat race!

That seems like a highly inefficient process.
That sucks that because the people made a stupid decision that they give you guys a hard time with it. It is the reason that I hate anything to do with customer care/people in general.
Anyway on the subject of cars, I was cruising in my car today and I saw a Volvo so ugly I had to take a picture of it (the light was red btw).

I saw a '80's Alfa Romeo today spewing huge puffs of smoke. I got all set to snap a photo when the light turned green. Never got another chance.

This is from me being bored at a friends house. FYI, I hate country and it took extreme boredom and curiosity for me to try that hat on...

I dislike country music as well and my neighbor across the street has an outdoor sound system at his backyard pool and often plays country music. While htat is irritating, he also happens to be a minister and sometimes he actually plays hymns on his sound system too. He has quite the ecclectic taste in music because he also occasionally plays some good rock too.

I'm assuming the minister never plays hard rock like Metallica. :-P
My neighbors in my dorm were always playing country music. I wouldn't mind except they would turn the speakers all the way up so that the entire floor could hear them. Oh yeah, the walls were paper thin. >_<

I think that's just awesome that you do your own repairs, You did a really nice job.

Any more I just sweet talk the guys in the shop (threaten them with their jobs, Or, I'm telling my Dad, lol) to do my minor touch ups. So spoiled working in a shop like this, can break it and not worry about fixin' it.

Actually I think that is an iPod Touch. The home button and the headphone jack are on the same side. My friends with iPod Touches have both the button and the headphone jack are on the same side. Regardless, that is still pretty creepy that you took a picture of a person while they were asleep.

Yeah you are right.... I didn't think about where the home button was compared to the headphone jack was.. I still thinks it pretty cool that he is using what we love best! Apple products!
