Twitter
Will someone explain how twitter works to me? I already know how to do it the stupid way and have mastered fumbling around. I need some help on exactly how to get the most out of it, and how to use it well.

Uh... I think it's lame when used as like a FaceBook thing. I use it to get news tips, since a lot of techies tweet before they post blog stuff.

I have a firned trying to get me to use Twitter and as a Facebook user, it seems first off, a bit redundant, but the way I read above, with Twitter, you can follow anyone and not have to set up a friends network?

IMO Twitter seems dumb for the most part. What's the point of updating what youre doing all of the time? All it sounds like is a stalker favorite because you can see exactly what someone is doing. Anyone else notice its been expanding like crazy in the last month? Everywhere you look, there is a Twitter! PTI, Mark Cuban was fined for critisizing officials through Twitter, and Charlie Villanueva got Twitter banned in the locker room because he was "tweeting" at halftime of a game. Anyone else notice that? Every TV show, sports team, and celebrity has Twitter now...

That was my thinking as well. WIth Facebook while you can post status, what I enjoy is sharing links, photos, thoughts, comments and doing some of the dumb quizzes so you can rag and tease your friends about their results.

twitter.com/dale1vMicrosoft owns the internet through Hotmail. The .HTML is short for Hotmail, so all .HTML files are MS files.

I take it you've "friended" your girlfriend's parents?Otherwise you can change your privacy settings in FB. I didnt think you could see someone's status if they weren't your friend. Set up your privacy as only friends being able to see your posts and profile. It set to friends of friends by default.
