I've tried the same thing you explained here but still getting the same error...do you know why?? Im currently running Itunes 7.3.0.54...do you think it has something to do with the Itunes Version? PLEASE HELP!! I think I bricked my Iphone
Ok, now I downloaded the last version of Itunes 7.4.2 and still having the same issue!!! Pls HEEEEEEELLLP!!!

Oops sorry, you already did that.
Try rebooting your computer, unplug your iPhone. Turn off your iPhone, then turn it back on and force it into restore mode, then plug it back into your computer.

CyberGreg, need your help!!! I've tried this procedure over and over with no luck. I tried it with Itunes 7.3.0.54 getting error 1603 and with Itunes 7.4.2 getting error 7.4.2 ... think I bricked my Iphone! pls help!!
