And I have 2 user accounts on my imac so when I unlocked the phones I unlocked one on my account, and the other on another account.

Now I have a friend's phone that I unlocked, but I'm wondering if it will sync with his computer, which is a PC running XP with the latest iTunes.

Will iTunes on another computer work with an iPhone unlocked on a different computer such as my iMac? Or am I stuck having to unlock it on HIS computer.

The reason I ask is because I'm not sure if there's some dependency between the computer the iPhone is unlocked on, or iTunes and the computer the iPhone is unlocked on and the iPhone itself.

and no, i don't "still use windows".

geez..... anyone know?? has anyone tried to unlock a phone for friend or someone that doesn't use YOUR computer???

It won't matter at all, you can use the iPhone with any computer, even if it is unlocked on a specific one.
