Unlocking.....Please help!

Ive honestly been educating myself for days on unlocking my phone, spending neumorus hours downloading and messing with unlocking programs etc... And I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use any of these programs being used on the forum. Ive tried this....http://iphone.unlock.no/.... But cant perform it because my phone isnt activated, tried ibricker, but that says to restore my phone, but I cant do that because my phone is not activated. Im totally stuck and totally banging my head aginst the wall... Im not super computer literate, but ive unlocked, 3 Treos, and have never had issues like these. Could someone please help me out?
