Buying a PowerBook g4 , need advice

I'm buying a g4 PowerBook 1.5 ghz , 15 inch screen 100 gb hard drive ,512 mb memory ,adobe ilustrator and photoshop. ,airport wireless and mac os leopard.
I can buy it for $350 but it needs new power cable and restore disk .

Is this a good deal for $350 or what . This would be my first mac.

Thanks

my advice would be to probably buy something newer...
g4 is equivalent to p3? programs are wayyyyyyy past that. You'll need to spend more cash for something thats actually decent.

A bit more on the history if you don't already know.... CLICK Was good in '01 etc but possibly beyond it's sell by date now. I guess the real question is what will you be intending on using it for?
