Following the trend of how the industry works it really wouldn't have anything to do with apple, more to do with cingular at&t. Of course discounts wont be happening for awhile as cingular at&t wont need them to suck people in to buy the iphone

Why would they discount the iPhone? The iPhone is going to be a sold out product at a ridiculously high price, go apple lol.

I say six months is a good estimate. That would give them time to get through the Christmas buying period. Maybe in '08 you'll see some discounts.
