****guys beware of ebay & paypal scam!!!!!!*****
Guys beware when selling on ebay!
Ebay isn't the main problem see i almost got scammed "Almost"
The main problem comes from Paypal i am pretty sure most are familiar with.
See when you are selling on ebay you have to use paypal to sell.
And Paypal so called protects you but that isn't the case really because they have a loop-hole on their system which scammer have the upper advantage; when someone buys your item they will pay via paypal (everything is Normal) You would get a email conforming the money is in your paypal account (Everything is still normal).
Then this is where the scamming begins.
Ok you have the money its time to ship the item. You go to your post office to ship the item. (Everything is still normal)
Here then what the buyer (SCAMMER) would do is go on paypal and dispute item as un received. Here is the most scariest part. Then paypal will refund the entire amount form your paypal account back to the scammer. Remember you have shipped the damn item! That would mean you have no money and you have shipped off the item!
You got scammed!
Here A QUICK flow chart
Buyer (Scammer) pays for item ->You ship Item ->Buyer (SCAMMER) get his money back and the item that you have shipped-> 2 weeks later you find out that the buyer (scammer) has his money back and you have already shipped out your item!
There you go i guess i have learned today that Ebay and Paypal are not as safe as thought they where
Guys beware when your selling on ebayIphone Love... I dreamed of a iphone before it was out..

Hmmm, there is a "waiting" period before you can submit the item as "not received", and I believe its like 21 days. So, I dont understand how that would work?

And proving that you shipped it doesn't mean anything either

No as soon as you pay you can do that. There are also other options in the money reverse option.
How do you think i almost got scammed? I got up and i see funds are under investigation. And the payer (Scammer) was from Indonesia so that doesn't seem to be surprising as well.Iphone Love... I dreamed of a iphone before it was out..

few simple rules to not get scammed
dont sell outside of north america
dont buy unless you use a credit card that has buyer protection
dont ship without a tracking number
dont deal with indonesia, philippines, africa, south america
but as a seller, as long as you send a method that has trcking and better yet sig confirmation, and you ship to a confirmed address, you will be fine

I always trusted paypal until this day!
GUYS PAYPAL HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND CREDIT CARD! THIS IS NUTS!! THEY CAN FREEZE YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE AND WITHDRAW FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE AND YOU HAVE ALREADY SHIPPED THE ITEM SO YOU HAVE SHIPPED ITEM AND LOST THE MONEY!!!!

well, problem is this..... you're an iphone hustler. You have to use paypal. you can't sell a dollar for 15 cents without paypal. paypal LITERALLY makes the e-world go round.
Using paypal is a calculated risk. You are in a higher risk bracket selling iphones or any popular electronics. As long as you only ship to confirmed addresses, only in the US and perhaps canada, and try to offer incentive for payments made with bank accounts rather than credit cards, you will be ok MOST of the time.
Also, you should create a new personal bank account and leave the old one they already have the information on to paypal transactions. If you want to buy something, use your debit visa card. Same credit card buyer protection, but still takes money from your bank with no delays like a bank transfer would and much safer than a bank transfer.
Smart use can keep you safe from a lot of malicious behavior. Besides, you NEED paypal to function on the net, they don't need you. Remember that.Screw #Winning, I'm #Juanning

Well might as. Well spend a few pennies rather then getting scammmed frozen or get your funds reversed without any notice.
At-least from WU as a seller your safe. Buying online is always a risk. But with PP as a seller you are not protected. You're Account, Bank Account Credit Card or any other source is totally un secure. Paypal has access to all the fund they can freeze your account, you call that safe and secure? They also reverse fund from your bank account or CC without giving you a early nor giving you a late notice.

You're not listening to me, you're listening to yourself. You can name all the greatest ways you love western union long time, but nobody is going to use it. You can sell anything you want and when it comes to payment and you say western union you're gonna get laughed at.
The hippie clan over at paypalsucks are dreaming of the days when they used to sell so much product.Screw #Winning, I'm #Juanning
