Black Friday: How'd you do?
I saw a post on who was going out on Black Friday, but nothing to post your bounty
I waited in line at best buy for 3.5 hrs with wind chills of 26-27 degrees (F). We got:
- Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock Bundle with 2 guitars $80
- 19" Samsung LCD monitor $130
- iPod Nano (fiance's brother got it) $150 includes $20 BB card
What about everyone else??And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

A huge thing of popcorn and some candy and all three Jurassic Park movies in a box for $15.
Oh yeah, and a 2.4GHz/4GB RAM Aluminum Book!!! $1,648 total. I have to wait 48-72 hours, though for the RAM to be installed. Then it's download-city to get everything I need!

I picked up a 1TB external drive for $110. Wired, mind you. So not much in the way of portability.

I bought absolutelty nothing today besides a frappaccino at Starbucks and a new set of tires for my father-in-law's car. We noticed he had bald tires and took him to a Tires Plus for a new set.
My oldest son home forvthe long weekend from college nabbed a few work hours at his Cuecuit City job he was there from 4am until noon then again from 6 pm to 10. Said it was very busy but not as bad as last year. Only a handful waiting at 5 when the store opened and very orderly.
I have done almost all of my shopping online since 2001 when I was laid up with a herniated disk. It was so nice not dealing with crouds i never went back to shopping in stores much.

We went out late, after the early crowds. Our biggest score was a Quicksilver jacket for my son...regularly $68 for $24. I swear my kids better love the fact their parents cares about their style.
We did hit the Nike outlet in my area. My brother scored a pair of Kobe's for $50. I was looking for Jordans but I only saw a pair of Olympias but I didn't think my daughter would want them for basketball.

I know that the doorbusters were available online, I just like going out and saying that I endured all in the name of insanity. lol. Also, the feeling one gets when you have all of the crazies literally running around to get things is like no other... Almost like a euphoria; taking into account the sleep deprivation, coldness outside, and flourecent lighting inside. hahaha
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

I was out there at about 4 AM and didnt stop buying for the family until about 11:30, but for my own gifts, I strolled into Target at about 9 AM and got all 4 seasons of The Office and COD5 in a minute. So for myself, it was a pretty successful day...

Heads up on COD5 - there is an issue where you randomly get set back to level 1. Happened to one of my kids yesterday. All three have the game and of course the other two brothers did not have the glitch happen to them. Only consolation was that they all knew about the random problem. Think those guys need to put out a patch., Great game though.
