    Default need new laptop any thoughts

    So I have been given/buying apple products since I've had the money and since I now currently live overseas the wife and I need another laptop and maybe a change in brand?. For video chatting and gaming. What is everyones thoughts on a good buys?

    ^LOL. As much as I love my future MacBook, for gaming: no way.

    I think a pro can handle a decent amount of gaming, though; unless you're real serious, then you have to go something on Windows with a great card.

    If you want to do any sort of gaming, just get a desktop. It'll give you a much better bang for your buck plus you'll be able to upgrade as games get more demanding. You can build a great gaming computer for under $1000.

    alienware is great for gaming but a little pricey it also glows

    staying away from the desktop because portability is key and alienware is just cluncky
