Yes good old PA, home of the speed nazis. I only live maybe 60 -70 miles from you. Find out where all the speed traps are and heed them. Look for the painted white horizontal lines on localk streets too, the local cops use vascar (speed/distance timing) in many jurisdictions. If you get 6 points under age 18 its an automatic suspension as is driving 26+ over the limit. Combine with the abnormally slow speed limits in many areas, its a recipe for tickets.
My hisband got a ticket for doing 45 in a 25. It was 10 PM on a 54 lane highway (not an interstate). It was a commercial area linesd with deserted strip malls. it was 5 points on his license. Took 2 years to get the points off (they remove 3 points a year if you dont get any further tickets). Run of the mill things like having the cop say you ran a red when the light was yellow is common too and that s a 3 pointer as well. The points add up quickly.
Congrats and be careful!
As a high performance driving instructor, my biggest piece of advice is to see the big picture, look far ahead of the car, use peripheral vision, anticipate what will and could happen, and never assume anyone else on the road will follow the rules. Just becaus eit may be your turn at a 4 way stop sign or if your light is green doesnt mean the other guy will stop. Scan the surroundings see animals before they show up in front of your car, and always look for "escape routes" wher eyou will drive your car in the event of getting cut off etc... Its better to drive off on a lawn rather than hit a car.

I'll have mine unrestricted soon (*cough* 19 days...). Who said that? lol. Can't wait to be legal (fully legal that is). Listen to what they say. There are some speed traps in MI, and it cost me, well, aside from the tickets, just my convenience. When they put restrictions on my license, they said that I would get some sort of 'bill' in the mail for it. Something to the tune of $500+. Never got it, that was about 2 years ago now... lol
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Congrats and some advice....stay out of the fast lane unless you're speeding. I hate it when I pull up on someone in the fast line doing five over.

I wish everyone thought like this! It was such a pleasure driving in Germany where cars will dip back into the right lane even if they are inthe process of passing a string of slower vehicles, to let a yet faster vehicle pass. They then pull back out and continue their pass. Here we have to wait while a car going 66 passes a line of cars 1/4 mile apart doing 65 when they could easily pull into the right lane to let a faster car by. Seemingly, Americans have a great aversion to lane changing.

Exactly, you come up behind and you'd think the guy would look in the mirror and move over. Good thing I have good brakes! Conversely the other annoying thing people do is pull out right in front of you to pass but either don't look or don't realize how fast you might be travelling and you need to nail the brakes not to hit the moron. People do this to us when pulling the trailer all of the time. They mistakenly think they dont want to get stuck behind a trailer (which will end up being faster than they are anyway
) so they feel the need to dart in front. None of these idiots understand the basic laws of physics. A 6000 lb truck pulling an 8000 lb trailer cannot stop on a dime. Once, we actually have to maneuver onto the shoulder to avoid hitting some jerk. It was priceless to see th elook on the guys face when we ended up parallel to him. He must have needed a change of underwear. I hope he thanked us for not slamming into him.
