I have been using the pre-beta for a while, and it has some really good organizational features, and UAC isn't a bother anymore. Dare I say, but some of it is better than OS X

And I take it back, the ribbon is epic in Paint, and I used notepad to do my personal statement for UCAS

Perhaps eventually I will check out the not-so-legit-betas, but for now, I'll admire from afar? lol. Seriously though, MS has a lot of making up to do in the tech world for their past offerings, I hope this won't disappoint.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

this is gonna be a big hit with djs and producers. kind of good and bad tho. running a virtual dj program with this will require no midi controller or other hardware which will make a whole new crop of wannabes pop up. at the same time it will make things alittle easier also for us real djs

You should be afraid of the list. VERY AFRAID I TELL YOU (I was kidding)
Quick question that I haven't seen elsewhere: does W7 bring any new features for dual/triple screens?

Windows 7 Beta Customer Preview
The sign-up should be coming back there shortly. It started at 3PM EST but it got hammered pretty bad. I was one of the lucky ones who got through before it went down and got my key :3
Looks like MS gave up sometime last night and has been handing out the same 4-5 keys to everyone so if you would like to Beta for Windows 7, just download from either MS or any torrent (make sure the SHA1 matches!) and use these keys:

I got my beta copy, unfortunately, Vista thinks my WiFi dongle is not working, hopefully Windows 7 plays nicer.
