People up here don't know how to handle snow. They think because they have 4 wheel drive they can do the speed limit. Seen it many times and then they end up in ditch. Forget that I do like 30-40 on the highway when the snow is heavy. It is the middle of the night only other people on the highway are semis and very few other cars.
Geeez guys. Dirty mind friday I guess.Last edited by Cer0; 12-11-2010 at 12:51 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Are they not used to the snow?

They should be; probably lived here their whole life. My gf's sister acts the same. Drives full speed limit when there is snow on the ground.

Had an argument with some co-workers a couple years ago about that. They kept saying "No I have 4 wheel drive I don't have to worry about that". Kept trying to tell them that yes it does help with grip but it doesn't mean you are driving on a normal road. Not to mention you are also top heavy in that SUV.

4 wheel drive has nothing to do with that

Get a better start than me in my VW. But yea try to tell them that it doesn't help on highway and they will argue it to the death almost.
