You probably got a live CD instead of an installation CD. What are you using to run it anyway? Whenever I use VirtualBox it always starts all over again like I never saved anything to the virtual machine.

Whats the difference between those? I'm using windows 7 and a blank DVD, could you do it from a SD card?

What's Python do? I reinstalled Cydia in hopes of fixing that problem cause it wouldn't install anything, but I had to just remove those repos to fix the problem anyway. It also uninstalled Python, Essential, and some other thing that starts with a 'C' which I don't remember what it is. I still have 3000 less files according to Cydia but am not having any problems. I reinstalled Essential and know how to reinstall Python, but I'm wondering if I need it.
Python is just another way to code C++, but also execute scripts that can be run by Python.

I don't think you have installed it wrong. Where they in the installation when they showed options?

So… should I reinstall Python now? Oh and someone who hasn't done something so crazy, (probably all of you) could you please press the remove button in the package Cydia Installer and see what that third thing was? You won't see Cydia Installer until you either press that button in 'Packages' that says 'simple', or until you go to 'Manage' and turn off the filters.

Best internet picture ever! Not sure if you can read all of it. So, Yahoo! Answers question: "Is the wind caused by the movement of tree branches?
Every time the branches move the wind blows."
Had me laughing for quite a while!

Not sure why but I finally got back to trying to learn more than basic of programming. I know a few small things with a few languages but decided to just settle down with python for now and move on after that.

I have the image of the basics, but I don't really know how to use them.

I should get back creating the currency converter app with a tutorial in Xcode.

Are you kidding? The one I found is MUCH dumber.

That lockscreen bypass (currently second story on Engadget) wasn't nearly as bad as it sounded at first, but I guess for some people it might be.

There are plenty more, I figured people had found them out after that trick where you had to flip the mute switch and hold power back in the earlier firmwares. Yeah, there's a lot more tricks.
