I ride my late husbands custom 06 Titan softail. I guess in memory of him. I'll never sell it.
Been thinking of getting a bagger. Been in love with Paul Yaffe style. We did a car for him about 2 years ago and he owes me a favor.
Would love to see more pics and stats on your Goat. A sweet piece for sure.

I started motocross at about 14 and moved up to street bikes a few years later. I've had some nice ones and I've had some real pieces o' crap too. I like to buy them cheap, not running or from that guy that bought one, laid it down and won't get back on it again.
The goat has a very stout 455 blueprinted and balanced coupled to a custom built 3spd 400 thm trans. I used 4 cars to complete the frame off resto mod. I boxed the frame and a Hotchkis suspension that is amazing in corners. This is the car that GM should have built.

Is the 455 original to the car? Blueprinted, awesome. Then it's pushing more then the 360 HP from the factory. Ram Air? Is it Palladium Silver? Hard to tell from the pics.
What about the interior? Is it a stock resto or a resto mod?

I was going to use a 421, but I went with the 455, as I don't race anymore. It's pushing 500+ HP as I've had the heads and the intake ported, polished and flowed. It's a very deep metallic silver, that was a custom blend with 4 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear. It looks like its wet all the time. The interior is still stock except for the carpet and headliner. Took 12 years to build!

So you've had it a long time then. Love it.
I have a 1934 Chevy Street rod that I've had since I was 16. My dad originally built it for me, but has been gone over about 5 times since then. I will never sell any of my cars.
Your not a purest as you've put your own touches on your goat to make it your own 1 of a kind. I dig that. Not sure if you'd get the big bucks if you'd ever sell it (but why in the world would you ever do that) as the big dollars are in Restored stock or resto mod (pro touring style). So diggin' it.
Gear heads rule...
421 with 3 deuces would have been sick.

Yeah, I build them for me. If I do sell it, it's because you paid my price. Don't really care about the stock resto value.
I had the tri-power on the 421 too. But the block was cracked.
Nice to see you know your machines. I'd love to have something really old. Been itching at a model T to hotrod. That's so cool to have something from your dad like that. My dad had a '57 vette that I would have loved to have now

I grew up in my dad's garage, and loved every minute of it. He started his first hot rod shop in Fort Lauderdale in 1970 when he returned form Vietnam and has never looked back. I consider myself so very lucky to grow up that way. Most boys couldn't get a handle on it that I am such a gear head. Their loss.
My dad retired 3 years ago and now I run the business. Hoping that maybe my son may take it over from me when he's ready. Now college is the priority. He's quite the builder/fabricator too.
My Chevy. Older pics, but still looks the same.

Wow.. Chic gear heads.. I feel one of several fantasies coming on.. Oy..
Though in my world, the term "gear head" refers to those of us impassioned by and in debt due to all the new recording gear from Euphonix consoles to UAD Apollo plugin architecture. A "421" in our world refers to the tried and true Tom-Tom and guitar amp microphone used in all the great "records" of the late 60's and thru the 70's. Still the standard today from the microphone company Sennheiser..

Nice ride! My engine was built by a woman that was taking over for her dad in a similar situation. Well known in the Boston area for great work.
Maybe in another life Bo
I have no idea what Grant is talking about.
