Looks like Sunday I am playing my first paintball tournament since late 2007 lol.

Should be fun, pretty confident in my team. We actually have 2 teams playing in the tourney. We usually practice and will be playing bigger tournaments as 5 man. But this local tournament is a 3 man so we just put 2 teams in. 2 different divisions though so we won't be playing each other

It's 11 here now, so just half an hour to go?

I worked overtime today, didn't get out until 5:20

I love the way Americans see it as a good thing that they work long hours.

I object to having to work beyond 9-5 and they do apologise if I have to.

I work to live, not live to work.

I love my job, maybe if it was my own business and i wasn't just a wage slave i might work longer hours.

    But probably not.

I go in early in the morning around 6ish (as I am a early riser) and leave when I want, but usually stay till 4/5PM. Rarely work on the weekends unless I have too.
I also have spent 20 years doing this (since I was 15), paid my dues.
I was extremely fortunate to be in a family owned business I will admit. Now that my Dad has retired, all the weight is on my shoulders and I love it. Makes me proud that my Dad had so much faith in me.

Your own business is different. For a father to leave a car business to his daughter says a lot (I try not to be sexist but I have a daughter and a son and there are Innate differences) you should be proud and I am sure he would be proud of you.

Thanks guys. Means even more to me because as most of you know I was adopted at age 5 and consider myself the luckiest person to have him as a father. When I came to the US I couldn't even speak English, he took me under his arm and raised me to be a strong and savvy kid. So thankful for what I have and what I am.

Never heard of it before, I see that we also have them in New York and Texas. Sounds like a hella of a good time.
    Meatopia
2012 saw the event leave New York for the first time when San Francisco hosted dozens of world-class chefs cooking the country’s best cuts of meat over live fires, while live music entertained the masses all enjoying cold beers and the best in aged spirits. This September, it is London’s turn.
