Personally, I've never understood why everyone loves the Galaxy. It's certainly a very capable machine, but TouchWiz is kinda sad and the build quality just isn't there for me. That and good luck getting Samsung to help you AT ALL if things go sideways in any way, shape, or form (if you do go GS4, again, I'd recommend Google edition).
    Confused... Again.
HTC One X is awesome , heading to T-Mo to check it out.
My question is, is the Google edition a different phone? Looking at T-Mo site, doesn't say it is a Google edition. HTC One Smartphone | HTC One Specs & Reviews | T-Mobile

I have a 2 weeks to get this done and now am really leaning towards the HTC.

I really like the HTC, going to go play with one at the T-Mo store by my house and get a feel.
Just confused about the Google Edition thing. If I like it I guess I will buy it via the link Orbs posted to make sure I get the right one.
WIsh I could just convert him to Apple, it would sure make life easier for me. Some how I feel guilty buying a non Apple product. lol

OMG, feeling kind a sick. Just bought the HTC for my friends birthday present. Feeling like I betrayed a true friend (Apple). Sitting here thinking that me personally, I have prolly $10,000 in Apple stuff and now I have to live with this...... forever. halp.

I'd like to open it up and play with it, but I want to give it to him brand new, untouched.
Had fun playing with one in the store, it was quick, easy to operate, but for me I could never convert.

Google play edition is plain android, straight from google so will get updates faster. The normal version runs HTC's version of android called sense, little tweaked from the normal version and you generally have to wait on htc or your carrier for updates.

    Android? Must be some guy!

Head over to MoDaCo and ask Paul, tell him I sent you. Then head to A-Developers for al, the help you need. Not as simple as Apple, far to many options, none of them perfect. Wouldn't it be easier to dump him and find someone who likes Apple?
