Ya just never know... and being barely 5 foot tall, I fell I need to be able to protect myself. "Stand my Ground", don't mess with the chink chick... lmao

My friends think I'm paranoid (I may be) but I carry lots of cash sometimes for my business.

I don't blame ya hon. I got my wife to git a gun with what she does. Makes her feel better and espically me

I don't own a gun and don't ever plan on owning a gun. I like going to the ranges but they sorta scare me and I would always be worried that some how some way no matter how responsible I would be my kids might get ahold of it.
I had a friend in 8th grade commit suicide with one that his dad kept locked up and everything but he still managed to get it. Very sad. I understand why people carry them and it doesn't bother me I think it's good especially for a women who maybe spends a lot of time alone or in a business that deals with men normally or carries lots of cash/ valuables on them. It's just not for me I guess to paranoid.

All good bro. I know a lot of people like that

I guess my Dad influenced my attitude about weapons, he was a Vietnam Vet (very pro gun) and has always had weapons around.
I kept mine all locked in a gun case I have when my son was little and still living at home. Now, meh, just part of living in a Constitutional State here is AZ. Everyone has a weapon on their hip almost.
You can walk through the mall, and see so many people strapped with their piece.
Most everyone I know has one (or more) too.

@Bo Oklahoma is the same way. And honestly I feel just as protected since I know everyone has one I feel that most people wouldn't try anything because it would be a huge gun fight and the person who started it would end up dead. We still have places like bars and such that won't allow guns. But most retail places don't have any rules against it.

Bars are the same way here cause of the alcohol
08-04-2013, 09:06 PM #65693
Yeah which makes sense probably smart. Enough fights break in bars we don't need fights turning into a death count

Orbyland is very... odd... in this aspect.
Several of the more... "progressive" municipalities have enacted open-carry bans. Several of the more "constitutionalist" counties have enacted express open-carry permission laws, some even aimed to defy the municipalities' ordinances. Some counties will issue (and Orbyland is a "shall issue" state) CCW permits to anyone with a pulse. Some counties have refused to open their offices for permitting (not technically defying the law, apparently) for years.
State legislators have enacted some very unpopular firearm control laws this year, several of these legislative sponsors are now facing recalls. More than half the county sheriffs in the state have joined to sue the state in federal court to invalidate these laws, and most of these sheriffs are refusing to enforce it regardless.
Everyone should just grab a spleezy and calm the **** down... oh wait... (that's becoming a massive mess too).

We save a lot of money by just banning guns. If no one has one then no one needs one.
Your guns must cost you a small fortune...He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

It's not that bad

Ya anything that is "Banned" just becomes more desirable by the people that can't have them and want them and will so what it takes to get them.
It's like banning drugs or alcohol people will find away to get it no matter what the cost

Not drugs and alcohol nooooooo
