We had a hurricane here in the UK 25 years ago (25th anniversary last week) only one in living memory and nowhere near as bad as what you get in the USA and surrounding countries.
Hope you're all staying safe.He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

FL usually gets a good one every year. It is only times when the weather I like this that I remember why I live here. High of 69° all day today.

my iphone's digitzer is developing a mind of its own. started randomly pressing stuff and its hard to press things on the right side of the screen. Maybe ill try reseating the front later and if that doesnt work i might resell/repair it...

ima try restoring it, although i doubt it will do anything. dont mind losing the jailbreak as 90% of everything didnt work in the first place.
ok guys the digitizer is still messed up, i have a question...its been naer a month (like, friday i think) since i recieved the iphone. is it possible that the iphone was in that condition with a temporary fix when it was sent to me? i want to know because it may be possible to return it on ebay....idk though. i havent actually dropped it, its been in an otterbox the whole time, it came with the front not completely seated...what do you guys think?Last edited by ikesmasher; 10-30-2012 at 06:36 PM.

^Talk to Cowboy, he is the iDevice guru. If the front wasn't completely seated, it sounds like it's been apart or perhaps dropped, ya never know.

hm...ok.
And i discovered that approximately the left portion of the screen (about a fifth of it vertically?) does not respond most of the time, but other times it works almost normally.

Irony:
Site that just last month was going to take all our work and shut this site down now is in disaster recovery and we are doing all their stuff.

I'm going to build a hackintosh in the $450 range and get Xcode. I'm pretty excited since I only have access to the iPhone 3.0 libraries right now.
Let's go Red Wings!
