First day was today. I'm going to be on contract for 30 days, then we evaluate from there. Hopefully I get a permanent position, or a new contract afterward. If I could get device Configurator to work properly for me, I could setup 30 at a time because we have storage racks with 30 hookups to USB. This is going to be fun. Hopefully I get it done soon and move on to real networking stuff.

High tide too, poor people. As you I'm sure Mike, I have been through a few hurricanes when I lived in South Florida, thank God it's only a category 1.

At 8:45 p.m. ET, the water level at Battery Park had reached 13.5 feet, surpassing the previous record of 11.2 feet in 1821.

Very big storm. We were feeling the effects of it yesterday night and this morning when it was just about ready to slam into the east coast.

Where do you guys escape to in Bermuda when a big one is coming your way? Higher ground I would guess.
We always evacuated to get away from them.

Uuh, nowhere to escape to. There is no higher ground. We get in our houses and batten down the hatches. It helps that our houses are made out of stone and cement though Normally we deal with hurricanes pretty well. The tornados do the worst damage but even that is usually just a little roof or tree damage. We had a tornado yesterday to do with Sandy actually: Photos: Tornado Causes Damage In Somerset | Bernews.com

I've been through quite a few myself, we had two near misses this year. Hurricane Fabian was probably our worst one in the last 30 years, our causeway got totalled in that one. Pic of that here: Hurricane Igor hits Bermuda: latest travel advice | Mail Online
