Time for my every now and then pop into random.

Been a horrible week for the family. But they seem to be in good spirits knowing that there is no more pain for him and they all were by his side in his last moments.

Almost fully moved into new place and heading over to old place to finish cleaning up then will call office on monday and ask them to get that fool rented so I can get some sept rent back and not have to pay oct. New place has been awesome so far. The only neighbors we have are way nice too. The other part of house was rented to a couple with no kids also. (3 unit house)

It is by train tracks so in the living room you hear the train sometimes running at all hours. It only gets loud when 2 trains are going by at same time; there is a freight train hub up the highway a little bit. But I grew up near trains so no big deal; can't hear them in the bedroom.

Hang up some heavy drapes or tapestries on the side of the room(s) nearest the train tracks. It'll help kill the sound of the trains.

The bedrooms it is not bad. The living room is ok but you get used to it. Only shakes glass or the a/c, not sure which is making the noise, when two trains go by at once.

Our bedroom you can't hear it at all.

You could always blow up the railroads and leave a huge crater so that the area can't be rebuilt.
