Plumbing and electrical are good, want a 2-story MB and the kitchen updated
The contractors out here are more concerned about selling the appliances.

Sunday. Have Sunday lunch at grandmas house every Sunday. Spammers have a couple hour break, at least from me.

+1 that was a good year. Romex, drywall, earthquake ready, just got to watch out for lead paint 50/50 unless you've had it tested.

The 70's were terrible years for remodel tho. Steel siding, formica counter tops, lead paint... The list goes on

Never tested for lead ... hmmmm I should.
Large lot, single story (huge attic looks like 2-story), 3-car garage. Lots of potential.
Except for minor changes, the inside is original. Can't say the same outside

If house was built before 1950 100% chance its got lead paint. 1951-1985 85% chance. After 1986 should be good to go. The government banned it's use.
If you don't have it tested, then it's best to assume it's got lead paint.
Capture all paint chips, never sand anything painted... It's best to scrap and cover with new paint. Pregnant woman, kids, old people should not be exposed to any of the remodel.

Lead poisoning is nothing to play around with

Thx. I'll find a hidden spot (closet maybe) and get it tested before doing anything else.

Closet is a great place to have tested, you may want a window sill chip test also(high traffic area) better safe then sorry.
My house was built in 64 and a lead paint test was the first thing I did.
Check with your local big box store. You can buy a test kit. It basically gives you an envolope and address to send it to for testing>> all testing costs are paid at store when you buy the kit
