Who here can boot an OS from a flash drive?

Take the flash drive and bring it to the local library. The dumb session manager is bypassed, and you have all of your files.

OS X is easiest IMO, but I know there are lighter versions of Linux which may be more compatible with a LIBRARY computer given that you have loaded every KEXT possible on the thumb drive.

About the Linux thing, I use Ubuntu, and it's a special version for USB booting. The only problem is that GNOME crashes because of compiz. I need to disable compiz.

My cousin uses Puppy Linux, and she has been for a few years now.
