No, during the jailbreak process it gets stuck on the part where it says activating. Remember since you are in recovery you cannot activate legitimately with a ATT sim so redsnow will assume you need to hactivate.

This is what happened the first time. I went through the whole process. Redsn0w did its thing when it finished I got stuck with the spinning wheel of death.

Sounds like it worked. At that point boot tethered. Phone wont boot if it is hactivated with a tethered jailbreak.

Ya, I know you have old bootrom. That doesnt mean Musclenerd put support for untethered old bootrom in redsnow for 5.0 though.

If he don't want your money then......... move along. Give him at least three days to respond, then to cover your tail log into ebay and file a non shipping seller report in safeharbor. Either way this doesn't sound like the kind of guy I'd wanna give "BNIB" kind of money to and hope it arrives.
