kinda came out of nowhere. i wasn't going to BUY an iPhone 4 for retail.

You actually can run a Secure Shell over USB with the iPhone, using USB multiplexing. It's how the iPhone actually syncs with iTunes (FTP not SSH but the point is the same).

So while most people are being silly willies when they say it, it's technically possible.

This is true (hence I called 'em silly willies). It's one of those more forgivable transgressions--after you hear people call the iPod touch an "iTouch," call a router a "phonebox," and people calling Windows the OS "PCs" (not the actual computers) it stops phasing you.

Had someone that wanted me to fix their computer. I told them all I need was the tower. They said just the box right? I say yes. They brought me the monitor lol. I said nope the box you put cds into and stuff.
