I'm 25 and still play this crap. I'm telling you, they hooked you up when Blue/Red came out in '98 and after that it was the same thing over and over, but just a bit better that you HAD to try it.
But seriously, Platinum comes out in April and this game will own harder than [insert whatever you're playing here]

For real, man. After like yellow, it got all confusing and they added more pokemon and what not like all at once.
Noodle, Pokemon is played nowadays on the DS, right? If I had one I'd definitely try to pick it up again, but I didn't even like the versions I had on my phone because of all the changes.
I couldn't follow...

Yeah, Diamond/Pearl(and Platinum soon) is the current generation on the DS. The best part now is online play. Battling and trading through WiFi makes the game much more accessible in my opinion.
Fire Red / Leaf Green were fun remakes and if you still have them somewhere, you can migrate whatever you caught in them to Diamond/Pearl too, no need to recatch what you have.
