I's the smallest of the inline 6 they offer, 20 hp over the 4 banger 318i. I've had every 3 series made in the last 20 yrs except a 330i.

If you are on a budget they are a good purchase. BMW is BMW...... it's good either way, but the 325i engine is MUCH easier to get parts for and work on. 323 is less popular and therefore less parts available.

Alright, man. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind when I'm looking to buy one. All I need is something in the $8,000 range that gets good gas milage to get me by for the next couple few years of school.

Those are cute. They come with a Lexus manicure set.

One version has balls but it still can't hold it's own against the BMW.

323 is fine, just try for the 325 FIRST.

Ugh, I don't particularly feel like working two (admittedly not that bad) jobs tomorrow...

Also I hate it when my tech addiction is starved.

So the company I work updated their catalog of "courses" you can look around at. Like classes you can take for anyhting from business items to IT items.

So I go to poke around it a bit and was going through an eveolution of computers lecture thing. Had to laugh because at the end of that it says that programs will soon be written to work on mobile devices that people carry around all the time like mobile phones.

Man how old is this "course".

Sad part is it could only be five years old.

Mobile tech has exploded. Five years ago nobody (in the US as a general bloc) gave a flip about EV-DO/UMTS or what it meant; nobody had a usable 24x7 internet connection in their pocket; nobody had a electro-sensitive touch screen input worth a toot. Perish the thought of being able to run fairly serious computing tools on the go without a laptop.

My my, how times have changed...

Yea but applications have been on mobile phones for a while. I was thinking back to some old Windows Mobile devices.

Well sure, there were apps on WinMo 5/BB4 phones, but let's be honest: those choked the fat one. Those platforms didn't even have Python, C, or TCL available to them (never officially, unofficially towards the end of their lifetimes).

Apple, to their credit, made a successful platform that made mobile app-based computing relevant. As much as they suck for doing it the way they did--they stepped up and did it.
