A magician was performing his magic act in Las Vegas. The big guy obliged, picked up the sledge hammer, and when the magician had laid his head down on the block of wood, the fellow hit him as hard as he could in the temple.

Ten years later, the magician awoke in a hospital bed, from a 10-year long coma, and immediately said, "TADAAA"!

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that if you get hit on the temple by a big lumberjack looking guy with a sledge hammer...you'd be DEAD not in a coma.
