Windows - Life Without Walls
I just saw the Windows "I'm a PC" ad. On the final screen it says "Windows - life without walls." Just what does that mean? A window is placed IN a wall. A window in itself is meaningless without a wall. I would like to slap whoever thought up this add with a window though....

lol...They're trying to say that the possibilities with Windows are endless...but coming from a virtual monopoly, it's an oxymoron.

twitter.com/dale1vMicrosoft owns the internet through Hotmail. The .HTML is short for Hotmail, so all .HTML files are MS files.

I thought the ads were rather good. You're not really supposed to look that into it.

I don't think "windows" refers to the literal interpretation of a glass pane. It refers to the the name of the operating system.

I know that it wasn't literal. I was only trying to say that the ad makes a poor attempt at...irony(?) or just whatever it was attempting.
Anyway I don't know. My post made more sense to me when I first posted it. Now... I'm not sure...Gamertag - Scikotic IT Guy

If we're to look at it literally then i'd say that windows lead to the outside, thus a life without walls. Windows is your pass to the rest of the world.

I think you had good intentions when writing this, but after re-reading the post, you came to your senses.

A few difinitions of "window" that has nothing to do with walls at all (therefore it can be that you have a window without walls)
6. a period of time regarded as highly favorable for initiating or completing something: Investors have a window of perhaps six months before interest rates rise.
7. Military. chaff1 (def. 5).
8. Geology. fenster.
9. Pharmacology. the drug dosage range that results in a therapeutic effect, a lower dose being insufficient and a higher dose being toxic.
10. Aerospace.
a. launch window.
b. a specific area at the outer limits of the earth's atmosphere through which a spacecraft must reenter to arrive safely at its planned destination.

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

I can totally move around in this window, but I'm still stuck in this damn box.
