iToner 1.0
Ambrosia Software has released iToner 1.0, a new tool that lets users put custom ringtones on the iPhone without hacking the device or "jailbreaking" it.
This blows away everything else

Well, maybe. If you're using Mac OS X.

If you're using Windows, iPhoneRingtoneMaker is fantastic. It not only transfers ringtones to the iPhone without jailbreaking, it lets you CREATE ringtones as well, without the need for an outside audio editing program. Yes, it's Windows only, but it also works on OS X through Parallels.
Just FYI.

@JpN:
I know it looks like it, but I wasn't trying to be insulting. Just providing information. Sorry if you took it the wrong way. And that "Thank You" in your stats came from me, by the way.
@Digitol:
Now now, be nice. With an attitude like that, we'll never get a Windows port of iFuntastic!Last edited by Stymyx; 09-01-2007 at 03:01 PM. Reason: typo fixes

I was really joking around...sorry if I came off too harsh...I do apologies. I was a long time Windows user until about 3 years ago and I am soo glad I made the switch.

Got two iPhones yesterday (one for me and one for my wife), once the phones were up and running I downloaded iPhoneRingtoneMaker and had two new ringtones on my phone in seconds. Love it! Now I have my football season ringtone on my new phone.
Thanks to all of you for your posts as it helps us newbs out.<--- I'm new so don't hit me just yet.

for OS X:
1) use Ringtones, works great, free, compatible with itunes 7.4. http://www.cocoadex.com/Ringtones_1.1.dmg
2) or install SSH on the iPhone and use Cyberduck. Works great as well and you can change any alerts like the SMS ringtone.
